As a member of Digitaria's growing search marketing practice, the successful candidate will work with our clients to meet their search needs through optimization and implementation. The successful candidate should exhibit exceptional knowledge of website technologies and Search Marketing techniques as well as communicate this knowledge through strong verbal and written communication. This is a key role in our future success, as the PPC channel becomes a more and more significant source of new customer acquisitions. Responsibilities include:
- Develop key performance indicators and evaluate the day to day performance of paid search strategies, SEO and campaigns.
- Market and promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results using SEM methods including search engine optimization, paid/non-paid placement, as well as through Pay Per Click strategies with providers including Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, etc.
- Work closely with Creative Services, Product Management and Engineering teams to prepare and launch marketing initiatives.
- Analyzes and reports click rates, conversion, ad expenses, and overall campaign performance to make data driven decisions and constantly improve ad effectiveness and maximize ROI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and a technical background (MBA highly desired).
- Experience working with web analytics solutions such as: HBX, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Unica, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical background.
- Diagnose issues on client and prospect's sites.
- At least 3 years of professional online advertising and marketing experience, including Pay Per Click and paid search experience.
- Thorough understanding of online advertising, and be experienced in producing, managing, and delivering multiple online projects.
Skills that are applicable to the position:
- Expertise in key phrase research, on-page optimization, and web analytics.
- Evaluate websites from an SEO technical visibility perspective and recommend changes to improve search engine exposure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to evangelize SEO projects and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure implementation.

- Solid computer skills, especially using Excel or similar tools.
